Hello lamppost. I've come to get in my private relaxation [isolation] pod.
who's experience? and what?
the experience of the audience;
stimulating the sympathetic nervous system of the audience
engaging in sympathetic narrative construction
the experience of the performer;
stimulating the sympathetic .... wait.
So; in performance; there are:
justin will be performing
primary focus being movement
elliott will be performing
primary focus being sound generation
and/or/hey what about: media including
lighting.
lights will be changing that justin [and elliott] work to set to certain parameters.
but will that be effective enough to have a specific sought after scheme?
What if certain sections were improvised or (if certain sections of the piece were meant to be improvised across the board). i.e.
if we wanted to engage in an exploration of tension/sympathetic nervous system experiementation "live" in front of the audience.
proposal for use of chance operations to produce a more pure effect. anything we engage in which is specifically planned and known, will have its own sympathetic memory for both of us. while creating a period of time which is planned requires making CERTAIN decisions for CERTAIN amounts of time to be preset for creating an effective "longer" work, there could be sections that are improvised.
this is a .. well. proposal I guess.
